Principal Investigator 1
Yiqiao Li is an assistant professor of Civil Engineering at the City College of New York and doctoral faculty of Computer Science Program at Graduate Center at City University of New York. Prior to joining CCNY in January 2024, Yiqiao worked as an Assistant Project Scientist at the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California Irvine (ITS- Irvine). Yiqiao earned a Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Irvine in 2021.

Bo Shang is a Research Scientist at AI & Mobility Research Lab at City College of New York. His research focuses on AI-powered traffic monitoring, LiDAR-based object detection, and the empirical analysis of transportation systems. Outside of research, he enjoys swimming and exploring NYC’s diverse food scene.

Faed Ahmed Arnob is a PhD student in Civil Engineering (Transportation) at The City College of New York, CUNY, focusing on intelligent transportation systems and AI-powered traffic monitoring. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from BRAC University, Bangladesh, and has research experience in computer vision, machine learning, and human–computer interaction. Outside academia, he enjoys filmmaking and cross-country motorcycling.
Yingying Zhou is a PhD student in Computer Science at the CUNY Graduate Center. She received her M.S. in Computer Science from Tufts University, where she conducted research on Android Auto protocol security. Her current research focuses on computer vision and LiDAR-based perception for intelligent transportation systems, including object detection, tracking, and traffic safety analysis. Outside of academia, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and crocheting.
Salsabil Salah is a PhD student from the Department of Civil Engineering and a TREAD Fellow in Transportation Engineering at The City College of New York. She holds an MS in Business Analytics from Duke University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, and has industry experience in electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. Outside academia, she enjoys running.

Aidan Mathew is a Civil Engineering student at the City College of New York, interested in how Vision-Language Models can be used to provide solutions for practical Civil Engineering problems. He is currently a member of the CE Student Council and ASCE CCNY chapter. His hobbies include traveling and video games.
Wen Jie Long is a Computer Science Junior at City College of New York, primarily interested in Machine Learning and Data Analysis. His hobbies include reading and writing in his free time.
High School Students 1
Philip Jow is a Junior at The Bronx High School of Science, currently focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence, data science, and civil engineering, in order to improve transportation infrastructure in New York City. He is a member of his school’s robotics team, and his other interests include hiking, camping, and using CAD softwares.
