Description: NYC DOT is partnering with AIWaysion, a street activity sensor company, to pilot advanced computer vision technology as part of the Curb Activity Challenge—an initiative led in collaboration with the Transit Tech Lab. Over the course of a one-year pilot, AIWaysion’s sensors will collect real-time curb usage data to help improve urban mobility and curb management strategies. To ensure the reliability and accuracy of the system, NYC DOT is seeking technical support from The City College of New York (CUNY CCNY) to assist in validating the performance of the computer vision technology.
